Here is our basic Aeropress recipe for a filter like coffee:
Rinse the paper filter with running tap water for 10 seconds Use 16 to 20 grams of freshly filter or slightly fine filter ground coffee (light roast).
Pour 2dl of water brought to a boil (straight from the water boiler) on the ground coffee or poured into the Aeropress handle before pouring on the coffee for a slightly lower brew water temperature.
Allow 10 to 20 seconds steep time after 3 vigourous stirs.
Press by using your body weight and enjoy.
For a stronger coffee similar to the one made on a Bialetti pot, you can follow this recipe:
Rinse the paper filter with running tap water for 10 seconds Use 20 grams of darker roasted coffee (Tim Wendelboe espresso or similar) ground for Bialetti moka pots (quite fine)
Pour 1 - 1,5 dl of water brought to a boil (straight from the water boiler) on the ground coffee or poured into the aeropress handle before pouring on the coffee for a slightly lower brew water temperature.
Give the brew 3 vigourous stirs.
Press by using your body weight and enjoy.
